The kids are doing very well Jaysek is weighing in at 7lb 6oz and Jensyn is 5lb 13oz as of Friday the 29th. Jaysek no longer needs oxygen and Jensyn is only using it at night.

Um I think I'll take a nap.

Wednesday when the weather turned nice we took the kids on there first stroller ride.

The Preemie and the Michelin baby.
Jensyn and her cousin Jaylea Walgren. Jaylea is 10 months old and weighs 20lb.

Uncle Calvie who is a chiropractor was giving everyone an adjustment and Jaysek didn't want to miss out. OK his was just pretending but it made for a good photo op.

5/22 Going home

So where are we now dad??

You're HOME!!!

One of the kids primary nurses Veronica, tells Jensyn goodbye.

Veronica telling Jaysek to behave.

Another primary care nurse Angie spending a little cuddle time with Jaysek before he leaves.

Angie giving Jensyn some pointers on what to do at home.

Our pod neighbors Chera and Irelynn (who was born at the same age for the same reason as our kids) came over to wish us the best.

It's only been a day but we already miss our NICU friends.

All loaded up and ready to go.

We felt it best if Jaime would sit in the back seat with the kids to watch over them. In order to do that we rented a U-haul car trailer and pulled the car back. It worked very well.

The whole fam on the way home.

We only had to make one stop on the way home, for a diaper change and a little milk.

I don't know if you can see it or not but I don't believe that is the right type of bottle in the cup holder.

5/20

Jaysek is like an old pro living in the hotel.

Mom gave Jensyn a bath today.

Baby don't have to much back.

Here Jensyn is getting her hearing tested. They put a tone in her ear and see if they can pick up the brain waves. She passed.

Caitlin's birthday was Monday and she has wanted to hold one of the kids for weeks. We didn't know if we were going to get Jaysek back.

We enrolled the kids in a growth study, every Monday they would get measured, weighed and like here their percent body fat measured. They also kept track of the nutrient intake.

Jaysek was measured for the last time today.

He also received a Dexa scan which measures bone density.

Jaime got the moment she has been waiting for.
Jensyn has been doing considerably better. She has been bottling her food, so they removed her food tube. Doesn't she look good without all of the tubes. She now weighs 5lb 6oz.
Nap time.

Jaysek has been doing good hanging out with us. His current weight is 6lb 4oz.

He has been a good kid so far, he sleeps most of the night and doesn't take up to much space.

Oh we get to go see my sister and all the cute nurses, YEAH.

Stork package

Look at what the stork dropped off at our hotel room.

As you can tell Jaysek was released today. Now he'll be a hotel baby not a hospital baby. Hopefully his sister will be released before to long and we can all go home.

He looks kinda small in his car seat.

All right dad I'm loaded up, now what?

Mom asked Jaysek if he liked being out.

He ignored her.

When he gave us the thumbs up in his pack and play we knew he liked it.

Mothers Day

The night nurses put together these little hand prints for the mothers. We thought they were very nice.

Happy Mothers day to those new and experienced alike
