Wheat Harvest

It's harvest time again, and we ventured to Hayes County to let the kids ride with Grandpa Rick in the combine. Daddy and Jaysek took the first turn. Jaysek wasn't a huge fan of the combine.

Mommy and Jensyn took the second ride. Jensyn loved the ride and probaby would have rode all night long if we would have let her!!!

Fourth of July

We went to Benkelman on the Fourth of July to help Grandpa Burdette celebrate his 85th birthday. We all had a great time visiting with everyone and of course eating!!! Papa Rex and Grammy Kathy were having fun with all their grandkids.
Jaime's brother Carson dressed "Red, White, and Blue" for America's birthday!!!!Jeremy and Weston were entertaining us with a few fireworks.

Jaysek and Jensyn kept cheering them on!!!

Before we left we took some pictures for Kathy. This is the whole Wilson family(Burdette and Jackie, with their kids-Bill, Laddie, Rich, Alyce and Kathy).

Sprinkler Fun

The last couple of days have been really warm so we got the sprinkler out and let the kids play. They love the water!!!! We are looking forward to taking them to the swimming pool and letting them swim.

Last Sunday afternoon we headed to Enders Lake to meet up with Jason's dad. He was going to take us for a ride in his new boat. It was the first boat ride for the kids and they LOVED it!!!!

Jaysek liked to "help" grandpa drive the boat.

After touring the lake we decided to pull up on a beach and let the kids play in the sand and water.
Jaysek and Grandpa Don went exploring on the beach.Jensyn and Mommy were checking out the water. Jason and and Grandpa Don took the kids for a walk down the beach.

A Scary Night

Saturday, Jaysek was starting to come down with a cold. Sunday he was a little worse. He was coughing quite a bit and started to run a fever. Sunday night around midnight he woke himself up coughing. And he wasn't breathing very well. He was very upset and crying, which made his breathing and coughing much worse. We decided to load him up and take him to the ER in McCook. They gave him some breathing treatments and took some X-rays and tests and then decided to admit him to the hospital for observation. The Dr. said he had Croup. So Mommy stayed with Jaysek in the hospital and Daddy took Jensyn home. It was a long night in the hospital, and neither Mommy or Jaysek got very much sleep. Sunday morning, Daddy dropped Jensyn off with Grandma and then came to the hospital. Jaysek was doing better and not coughing as badly. We met with the Dr. mid morning and he decided to discharge Jaysek. By noon we were out the door. It was a very scary night, that we don't care to relive anytime soon. Daddy and Jaysek were hanging out in hospital bed on Sunday morning.
