Santa Claus

Last Saturday we took the babies downtown to see Santa Claus. They seemed to have fun and weren't scared a bit. Jaysek-"Santa I want a big wheel and a BB gun and a pony!"

Jensyn-"Santa I want a Care Bear and a doll house and a Pretty Pretty Princess doll!"

Mommy and Daddy can hardly wait until the kids are old enough to give Santa their real list. What fun it will be!!

An Afternoon at Grammy and Papa's house

The Saturday after Thanksgiving Dad and Kathy invited us to their house for lunch. Kathy's parents, Burdette and Jackie, were there as well. We all had a good time visiting and playing.Kathy and Jackie were enjoying watching the babies play on the floor.
Jaysek and Jensyn were carrying on quite the conversation. Jensyn would screech at Jaysek, Jaysek would laugh at her, then they would both laugh and laugh. It was pretty cute to watch.

After playing with Jaysek, Jensyn was tuckered out. Burdette latched on to her and they just sat and rocked in the recliner. Not long after this picture was taken, Burdette had her asleep. Thanks Burdette!!

Thanksgiving at Our House

We had Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year. We had 25 people in our house for dinner. We had a great day with family and friends.Here is a picture of half of our dining room. We were able to fit everyone in our dining room. Chris, Carson, Don, Calvin, and Grandpa Bob were the first through the line and enjoying the delicious food.

Pics from the last couple of weeks

Things have been busy at the Weiss house. We have had alot going on and Mommy and Daddy haven't taken many pictures. Here are a few that we have taken in the last couple weeks.Jensyn is really becoming more mobile. She has learned how to roll after what she wants and is rolling across the floor. One evening she rolled part of the way under our bed and then became "stuck". She couldn't figure out how to get back out. Jensyn is definitely Daddy's little girl. Here they are having a one on one talk.
One afternoon Jaysek got upset and was screaming.(He is very loud by the way.) I looked down at Jensyn in her bouncy chair and this is what I saw. She was sitting there covering her ears with a look on her face like, "Do you really have to be so loud?"

Jaysek decided to help me with laundry one afternoon. He rolled over to the laundry basket and started pulling the towels out on top of himself. What a great helper!!!!

One our favorite things to do is to just sit back and watch the babies together. They will lay there and "talk" back and forth and just smile and giggle. What a great bond they have and what good entertainment for Mommy and Daddy!

Halloween Fun!!

Halloween was alot of fun this year. I have to admit that I love Halloween. It is probably one of my favorite holidays. I am sure that I enjoyed the babies' costumes more than they did, but they were troopers. Here is Jaysek all dressed up. He was the cutest monkey I have ever seen. What a fitting costume, because he is our little monkey boy.Here is Jensyn as a Giraffe. Isn't she adorable?!

The babies were all loaded up and ready to go trick or treating. Don't they look excited? :)We went trick or treating with Shad and Nicole and Kreyton. What a nice evening to be out and about. Kreyton was dressed up like a mummy. He was so cute. This picture doesn't do his costume justice.

The Great Pumpkin

We carved our Great Pumpkin last week. We had a large pumpkin so we carved 2 faces on it. One for each baby. Here is Jaysek's face. Isn't he cute?!

Here is Jensyn's face. She loved the pumpkin!!The pumpkin was "Great" enough to fit both babies. Here are some pics of the Great Pumpkin all lit up on Halloween night. We thought that it looked pretty cool.

Ashton's Birthday Party

This past weekend the babies and I rode along with Uncle Scott and Grandma Sharon to Columbus. We all went to help Ashton celebrate her 3rd birthday. Chris and Raenelle had invited family and friends over for the party.

The next day he was trying to crawl into the exersaucer. He did make it all the way in. Then got really mad that he couldn't get back out.

Kearney Trip

This week Jason had some classes for work at the Holiday Inn in Kearney. The kids and I went along. One afternoon after class we decided to take the kids swimming. The Holiday Inn has a really neat pool area for kids. I'm sure the kids will love it when they are a little older. Jaysek was a little unsure of the water at first but was enjoying it by the time we were done. Mom and dad even took turns going down the big water slides. What fun!!!

Estes Park

We took a couple days and went up to Estes Park after Jensyn's Cardio appointment in Denver. It was nice to get away for a few days. The weather was nice. Almost as nice as when we got married in Estes 3 years earlier.

We decided to try and take some some family pictures while we were in the National Park. This picture is actually taken on the dock where we were married 3 years ago. The colors in the park were amazing. The mountains in the fall are truly one of our favorite places to visit.

We took the stroller along with us. We loaded the babies up and strolled around Sprague Lake.
