Our pod neighbors Chera and Irelynn (who was born at the same age for the same reason as our kids) came over to wish us the best.

It's only been a day but we already miss our NICU friends.
All loaded up and ready to go.

We felt it best if Jaime would sit in the back seat with the kids to watch over them. In order to do that we rented a U-haul car trailer and pulled the car back. It worked very well.

We only had to make one stop on the way home, for a diaper change and a little milk.
I don't know if you can see it or not but I don't believe that is the right type of bottle in the cup holder.
