4/18, 4/19 & 4/20

Friday after an x-ray and blood work that came back normal Jensyn got to be started back on milk but real slow. Seeing no signs of infection they stopped her antibiotics as well. So far she seems to be doing very well.
This is the x-ray machine they roll it right up to the bed. It's nice that they don't have to move the baby to another room.

Our poor little girl. They had to move her IV so they could put a bigger more permanent one in her arm or leg. Not knowing where they wanted to put the big one they put one in her head. It looks very bad but it is one of the best places to put an IV. It doesn't get bumped or pulled on like one in the arm or leg and there are less nerve endings so it doesn't hurt as bad. It only lasted a day and by Saturday morning it was gone. On Friday though, I called her Pebbles because it looked like she had a bone in her hair(neither Jensyn nor Jaime found it amusing).

Aunt Raenelle flew in for the weekend and was very excited to get to see and hold the little ones.

Grandpa Don came out to visit for a couple days.

To be honest with you I don't know if I've ever seen my father so excited in my life as he has been about these babies. It is quite a sight to see him wound up like this.

On Saturday we were allowed to give Jaysek a bath. We were given a little instruction by one of the kids main nurses, Veronica.

Um, I don't know what's going on, but I think I like it.

A little scrub a dub dub.

OOOHMMMMM!!!

Are we done yet?

Ooh that warm towel feels good.

Look at how big Jaysek's hands are.

Mom likes Jaysek's new outfit.

Jensyn taking a nap right before she gets her first sponge bath.

Hey mom that's wet.

I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair.

Jaime,

Congratulations!!! Your dad has been keeping my mom updated on your pregnancy, but I had to find out about the babies from a patient at the hospital. I am so happy for you guys. Some time after you get home I want to get together and neet each others kids.

Take care,
